What is trust exactly? Trust is the capacity to believe in something. What’s we, as golfers, are trying to trust or believe in our golf swing. You want to be able to trust that you won’t kill your playing collaborators with a shank. You want to trust that you won’t look like a fool ahead of your buddies, wives, or girlfriends. I’m certain there are some dissimilar scenarios that I may fetch up that could serve as an example. What’s merely, golfers need to trust their swing on all occasions.

Now, let me ask you many questions. So, you say that you may hit the ball well off of the tee box. Are you competent to achieve this feat every, single time? Does your ball land in approximately the area that you intended it to go, on the fairway? Or, does your ball slice off into the rough more oftentimes than you want it to? Sure, there was that one time during a weekend match with your friends. On that one principal hole late in the round, you were capable to hit the ball close to 300 yards off of the tee. But, unluckily your tee shot got buried in that nasty fairway bunker. You just kissed a potential birdie good-bye. And with it, the opportunity to win numerous cash with that bet you made before the round started out.

Senior golf tournament winners have been recognized since the 1980s. They play in many different events and include many top players that you might recognize the names. Seniors have the opportunity to play in tournaments around the world and win just like the well known athletes do today.

The first tour to include senior events was the PGA back in 1980. Today this tour is the most popular American Championship. It now boasts five major championships which have three events in each. As long as a player is fifty years of age, or older, they can participate and they can enjoy the recognition that they deserve thanks to the fact that, along with other organizations, the PGA tournament currently hold a number of events that are specifically intended for senior golfers.

Initially, the Championship did not include five major chapionships. These have become part of it over the past two decades. As already stated, the senior golf tournament was started in 1980 by the PGA and the US Senior Open. In 1983 the Senior Players Championship became a part of the tournament. The tradition joined six years later in 1989. It was followed four years after that in 1993 by the Senior British Open Championship.

Jack William Nicklaus, well known as “The Golden Bear,” was born on January 21, 1940 and may well be, as his fans will tell you, among the greatest pro golfers ever. Growing up in Columbus, Ohio, a pharmacist’s son, he was a student in Upper Arlington High School and beat a mild case of polio as a youth. Turning to golf at ten years old and shooting an amazing 51 for nine holes, he broke 70 at age 13 on eighteen holes.

When only 16, Nicklaus won the 1956 Ohio Open and won the US Amateur in 1959 and 1961. He came in second in 1960, to no less a player than Arnold Palmer. He would make up for this by playing on the Eisenhower Trophy winning team and establishing a as yet unbroken 269 score in four rounds that year.

By 1962, Nicklaus was playing professionally, winning the US Open for the first time. His defeat of Arnold Palmer gave his immediate fame – he went on to win the Masters Tournament twice before the 1960s came to a close; although he would not win another US Open championship until 1970. The 1970s saw Nicklaus taking 9 other major titles, breaking Bobby Jones’ 13 title record. In 1986, Jack Nicklaus played and won his last major tournament, his 18th – and at 46, becoming the oldest player to do so.
