It’s no secret that hybrid golf clubs are helping all golfers to improve their play . They have been available for a while and, like most new technology, it takes a little time for the average golfer to be aware of just how good they can be for your game. Obviously the professionals fully understand the benefits of hybrids, because most of them carry at least one or two in their bags .
All the major name brand suppliers, as well as those supplying clones and discount clubs, offer hybrid clubs . Some offer complete sets of hybrids, #2 through the pitching wedge. Others just offer them in the the lower lofts from #2 through #6.
So, you ask yourself, which hybrids do I really need? First, you must understand is that hybrids are only intended to replace standard iron type clubs. They have the same shafts as irons and come in the same lengths as the standard irons that they replace. They have a shape that is a blend of a standard iron and a wood. The head size and shape are designed to give you maximum distance and, being an iron, they are easier to hit than the comparable longer woods……remember, the longer the club, the more difficult it is to hit.

The golf slice is typical amidst inexperienced players and golfers who have been learning the sport for decades. Debatably, there’s nothing more annoying than seeing your shot land a hundred and fifty yards to your right and end up on the next fairway.
The good thing is, it is relatively easy to fix a slice as mentioned here:
Golf Slice Tip 1:
It really is imperative that you address the golf ball in the correct way. If your stance isn’t right from the start then you will usually slice your hit. You really need to refrain from moving your head by any means, that is, until your golf swing has completely terminated and never before.
If your head doesn’t stay fixed through the swing then you run the chance of slicing or hooking a good number of shots you play. An easy way to stop this from occurring would be to focus your eyes on something on the golf ball that’s notable. Maybe it’s a spot of dirt or even the lettering of the ball vendor. It doesn’t matter what your concentration position on the golf ball is just as long as your head is not going to move until your swing action has absolutely finished.

The equipment any golfer uses which vary greatly but it will usually depend on their skill and personal preference. In particular, beginners who will likely have a high handicap or those with a mid-level handicap might look at ways to lower their scores with the tools they have to hand. One of the ways to do this is to use a distance golf ball.
These balls have been designed to make sure they fly the maximum distance possible and many of the golfers who switch to use them find that they can drop several shots off their score by using them. Their construction are quite similar to any other ball but they do have some redeeming features which gives them the ability to reach these long distances.
Distance golf ball construction
More often than not, distance balls are made using a two piece design, although there are some three piece balls that are perform to the same standard. The core is probably the most important part in one of these golf balls as it is here the extra distance comes from.
The two piece construction also helps to keep the cost down, in comparison to other balls.

Just a simple easy golf swing – Isn’t that what we all want ? A steady , repeatable golf swing that you know will work at that first tee? So just why is it we hook and slice so many shots ?
A slice is when the ball starts left of the target and finishes way right. The reason for this is too much body action and not enough hands, which leads to the club head being open on impact. A hook , right to left is exactly the opposite.
Your driver is the longest club in your bag andis therefore harder to hit straight . It is normal for golfers to get on the tee and want to hit the golf ball as far as they possibly can, but you must realise one fact – you can hit the ball further and far more accurately if you do not try to hit the ball so hard .
There are 3 main areas to fix golf slice that you need to get right to make sure your golf shots are straight every shot .

A lot of golfers are like me, they have a not so good golf swing plane. For those golfers with golf swing plane issues, this can lead to other swing faults like coming over the top, casting, and the big one, slicing. for golfers who suffer from this swing problem, there are normally two things we can do wrong. If you’re into golf swing tips, you will like this drill.
One problem is as you bring the club back, the club will come up too high or too upright. Then it will come down on the backswing and you approach the ball too much from behind. This causes the ball to start too far out to the right.
The majority of us who have swing plane problems will begin by bringing the club back too low or inside of where their correct swing plane should be. As a result the club will be too far behind them, or too flat at the top. From here, the club has to go too far out on the downswing to get back to the golf ball,so the club comes down too far above the correct plane. You come across the ball in this case, and the result is coming over the top, or casting. The ball starts way left, and very often the result is a pull that misses the fairway to the left. If not, the typical result is a pull fade, and you’re lucky to keep the slice in play on the right. Because of the glancing blow you deliver to the ball, you lose a lot of distance if you’re like me and you have this problem.

The golfers game around the green can make up for many shortcomings in their long game. So even if you are not the greatest driver or long ball hitter, you can do well in many cases if you have a good short game at the greens .
The golf clubs that you’ll be using when you get within 100 yards or so of the green are called wedges, and there are four general kinds of wedges that all golfers should be concerned with, depending on their skill . Let’s take a look at each type of wedge and determine how to use each . Remember that all the wedges can be purchased at any supplier of discount golf clubs and golf equipment.
One of the most common wedges that can be found in almost any golf bag is the pitching wedge or PW . They are great clubs to use for approaching a green from 100 yards . Normally they have a loft of between 45 to 49 degrees.
The next wedge to consider is the gap wedge which is more suitable for shots that are 80 to 90 yards away from the flag or your intended target . The loft on these short clubs is usually between 49 to 54 degrees.
