Interest in golfing is increasing daily. It is becoming one of the most popular games on the planet with over 100 million people playing a year. Younger people play golf now more than ever.

Golf can be a very fun sport to play. It combines excitement, frustration, and moments of sheer terror. However, when you play, the right equipment can make the difference between winning and losing. Being able to hit down the center of the fairway is a good first goal. Chipping gets you on the green, set up to sink that put.

Good golf games can be played with just about anyone. If you and your friends are looking for an afternoon of fun, golf may be the right answer for you. You can enjoy taking the time to get away from the rest of the world while shooting a game on a beautiful course. This is the perfect setting for a wonderful sunny afternoon. You will be able to have peace and quiet along with an action-filled afternoon of competitive golf.

Golf is a game that has been played several hundred years now. It can be enjoyable, frustrating, and exciting all at the same time. Most beginners will appreciate learning new ways to enhance their play.

Golf play starts with hitting a small ball off the tee onto the fairway. One attempts to hit the ball onto the green and then into the cup or hole. Some courses are 9 holes, some are’ holes or more. Some courses are designed to be walked and some are more easily played when one uses a golf cart.

The game’s goal is to put the ball into the hole with the least amount of strokes. Consequently, the person who hits the ball the least during play, wins. Many rules must be observed. Getting good at golf includes learning the rules. One must be aware of the proper etiquette too.

Golf started in Scotland. Records show the fist golf game was played in the eighteen hundreds. Two names associated with the first golf games are “Kolven” and “Chole. By the eighteen hundreds, golf had spread all over the world. It has become well known and used in many schools, organizations, and clubs all over the country as a great sporting event. Anyone can play this game and have fun learning and trying at the same time.
