Its got to be cheaper per run than renting a helicopter and pilot and getting a rig for the copter right?

I noticed you didnt have (i think) a polarizing filter on the camera. Does the quality suffer because of the wide range of environments the helicopter goes, or did you just find the color to be better

Thank you! Helicams are an interesting mix of frustrating and rewarding. So much so that there really is only a handful of people who have become consistently good at it.
Yes they are less expensive than full size but the main advantage is to get unusual angles/movements in tighter spaces.
You are correct, we didn’t use a polarizing filter. We were asked to shoot all 18 holes in one day so it was a mad rush to get finished before the sun set and the filter inadvertently was left off.

Thanks! Everything on the heli has to be perfectly balanced for the gyro stabilization to work properly. Once that is done it works like a charm.
